Inter Lagos FC was founded in 2023 on Lagos Island. Two seasons later the club won the Lagos NNL and went up to the NPFL as champions of Lagos. The 2026/27 season is the club's first in the top flight.
Home is Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos Island, the ground everyone still calls Onikan Stadium. The fans are Inter Lawa, and so is the membership.
